Angela Macey-Cushman
Angela Macey-Cushman represents plaintiffs in medical malpractice and serious personal injury cases.
Representative cases include the mistaken removal of a healthy organ during surgery; failure of a radiologist to detect tumor growth; delayed diagnosis of colon cancer; wrongful death due to negligent intraoperative monitoring; and paralysis due to improper technique during a spinal injection. Angela works hard to secure top experts in order to build the very best case for her clients. From the first contact to trial, she focuses on the human aspect of her cases and her clients’ needs.
Angela earned her undergraduate and graduate degrees in nursing from the University of Washington and worked as a nurse before going on to earn her law degree from Seattle University.
Active in the Washington State Association for Justice (WSAJ), Angela serves on the Board of Governors and leads the Medical Negligence section. She is a Super Lawyers “Rising Star” for 2010 and 2011, and received the WSAJ “Ready to Soar” award in 2010. She is also a past Trustee of the King County Young Lawyers Division.
Angela grew up in Wenatchee, Washington, and now lives in Seattle’s Montlake neighborhood. She enjoys running, gardening, and spending time with her family.
